The Matrix star Keanu Reeves has teamed up with the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) to support its Save This Moment campaign by lending his voice to a new short video, titled The Film Prayer.

The campaign aims to raise funds to cover storage, revision and maintenance costs for over 1400 recently-acquired films, and the video advises on how to handle film carefully so it doesn't break or burn as it goes into the projector, so it can be preserved for future generations. Reeves commented 'I love film and am honoured, grateful to ‎TIFF‎ for including me in their important efforts to preserve, project and support this extraordinary medium'.
